There's one more week of the semester left and then I am officially ready for a summer of chilling, ice cream eating, and pom pom making!...right after a summer semester starting in May. As I have probably said a 100 times by now, I am officially over this weather. Every day, I am teased by hints of spring, and then the next day...SNOW. A day after I took these photos, it snowed again. Here's hoping it's the last time, so I can get my favourite spring and summer outfits in gear! My first "spring" outfit is Western and 1970's glam inspired, and features one of my favourite tees from Made Au Gold!Read More
Happy Holidays! I've been missing in action on the blog the past few months because I have been busy with school and markets, and now I have a bit of time to say "hi!", share a few of my favourite things, and talk about what's new and exciting for 2018! 2017 was great in a lot of ways, but I am ready to say goodbye and move on to bigger and better things. I really dug into my small business of selling pins and pom pom accessories, and started a part time job. I had the pleasure of traveling to San Francisco, Missoula and Portland with dear friends of mine. I completed two more semesters of my art degree. This definitely was a year of growth and change, and while some of it was hard, when looking back, I wouldn't have had it any other way.
As usual, and like most people, I am trying to set "goals" for the new year. I will definitely work on going to bed when I need to, budgeting my money, and focusing on my artistic practice in the next year. One of my top goals for 2018 is to wear only clothing that I 100% love the style and the material of, and to only buy from companies and businesses that I want to support. One of my favourite companies I love to support is Luella!Click 'Read More' to read about why I love Luella and to check out the cutest Willie Nelson-inspired tee!Read More
I love having patterns in my wardrobe and sometimes it's hard not to wear all patterns every day. While I have a wide range of tropical and floral prints, one print I surprisingly didn't have a lot of was gingham! I have always loved gingham on other bloggers because of its simplicity and versatility so when I received this fantastic Light Blue & White Gingham Alexis Shirtdress from Unique Vintage, I was so excited to add this piece to my wardrobe. This dress is one of my new favourites because it is comfortable, flattering, and it suits any season!Read More
