This past weekend, I travelled to Calgary for Sled Island's music and art festival, and it was so, so fantastic. I was initially writing a blog post on the event, but I didn't take as many street style photos as I wanted and I am not a music connoisseur. All I can say is that every performance I saw was fantastic, I met so many wonderful people at the festival, and I ate so much food (mango shrimp tacos from Taiko Tacos are amazing). My favourite highlight was giving Seth Bogart some candy I had in my purse during his performance. Sled was also fantastic to find style inspiration from other festival goers and plan my outfits, including my favourite dress from A Vintage Affair.
In case you haven't noticed, I have a huge crush on vintage florals, so when I saw this exquisite 1940's floral dress from A Vintage Affair, it had to be mine! This dress is my first full-length dress. I love it because I can style it as an evening dress or as a summer festival dress. I paired it with three of my favourite vintage Bakelite bracelets and my Loretta Heels in black by Miss L. Fire.
