I have been dying for a Trashy Diva dress for over a year, and I finally took the plunge on the Trashy Diva Swap and Buy, and while that one was on its way to my mailbox, I travelled to Edmonton and visited Rowena/Retro Glam, and took the plunge in person. I went from zero Trashy Diva dresses to two, and I can't wait to fill my closet with more! Here is Trashy Diva's 1940's dress in the Psychedelic Ferns print. I'm in love with the material, fit, and vibrant colour. It's a neon 1940's dream! I am also excited to share the Jolene dress in Deco Daffodil as soon as I can!
Trashy Diva is a New Orleans-based vintage-inspired clothing line founded by Candice Gwinn. Instead of releasing collections with different designs and styles, each collection is based solely on one vintage inspired or reproduced print (usually from the 1930's -1950's) on multiple styles of dresses and separates. I absolutely love this for times when I'm in love with a print, but not a fan of a certain cut. Trashy Diva makes it so that their customers have options! And, rumour has it there's a new fun print coming out this month!
